Its the end of 2011 and cheers to all for being so supportive, for us still being alive, for being our caring friends, for laughing even the jokes is so cold, for being our audiences, for liking our Facebook posts, for being so passionate in us, for helping us in anyway, for being a good listener, for playing us wonderful musics, for bringing us so much wonderful films, for writing those wonderful books, for inventing some cool gadgets, for those who stay on with us even when we were dreaming, for reminding us the real world we are in, for all the loving, for all the friendship, for all those beautiful video clips shared on Facebook and youtube and vimeo and for all the endless laughters shared. The founder of Urban-Cr3atures, ChunWoei was recently interviewed by Patrick from greenroom who run a project called Project Concrete Jungle to search for local intrepreneurs. It is dedicated to the brave and crazy individuals with the desire to build products of admiration. The project is a series of interviews to learn about their journey from zero to hero.

Reconstructing Beautiful Junk

It has been years since we did the last Beautiful Junk. This time, it is a warm up series and also an experimental showcase where we merge Beautiful Junk with works of fine arts and also as usual with bands performing. Thanks to all who made this event a success. First, salute to all the artists involved TC.Liew, Drew Harris, Sharifah Maswari, Maizul Effendy, Nicholas Choo, Kent Ong, Shirley Awe, BibiChun, Syed Bakar And Ruby Salim. Next my thanks and appreciation to all the bands who performed, 3, Thirteen Hundred, Damn Dirty Apes and After School Project. We surely rock the neighborhood. Thanks also to Drew and Sharifah for the wonderful space and arrangement in Awas Artworks/Artspace.
