Territory Magazine presents for the first time in Malaysia, the award winning film Happy. We, citizens of planet Earth will together celebrate World Happy Day on February 11th. How will you create happiness in your life, and in doing so create and share in happiness with others around you?

Territory magazine invites you to come and join us in the celebration of happiness. Happy is a feature length documentary that addresses many of the fundamental issues we face in today’s society. What does it mean to be happy? How do we create more happiness for ourselves? How do we balance the allure of money, fame and social status with our need for strong relationships, health and personal fulfillment?

Happy takes the viewer on a journey around the world, through the desert landscapes of Namibia to the streets of Kolkata, in search of the keys to happiness. Cutting edge science and research alongside remarkable human stories and shared wisdom, will inspire and lead us towards a deeper understanding of why and how we can pursue more fulfilling, happier and healthier lives. Happy is directed by Roko Belic, an Academy award nominee and Sundance award winner. Since it’s release, Happy has won awards in various international film festivals such as the Amsterdam Film Festival and the Maui Film Festival. It continues to make waves around the globe.

The founder of Urban-Cr3atures, ChunWoei was recently interviewed by Patrick from greenroom who run a project called Project Concrete Jungle to search for local intrepreneurs. It is dedicated to the brave and crazy individuals with the desire to build products of admiration. The project is a series of interviews to learn about their journey from zero to hero.

Reconstructing Beautiful Junk

It has been years since we did the last Beautiful Junk. This time, it is a warm up series and also an experimental showcase where we merge Beautiful Junk with works of fine arts and also as usual with bands performing. Thanks to all who made this event a success. First, salute to all the artists involved TC.Liew, Drew Harris, Sharifah Maswari, Maizul Effendy, Nicholas Choo, Kent Ong, Shirley Awe, BibiChun, Syed Bakar And Ruby Salim. Next my thanks and appreciation to all the bands who performed, 3, Thirteen Hundred, Damn Dirty Apes and After School Project. We surely rock the neighborhood. Thanks also to Drew and Sharifah for the wonderful space and arrangement in Awas Artworks/Artspace.
